Student Ministries... Otherwise known as The Highway! It is a place to find answers, to find out who YOU are, and to learn about WHY you’re here. The Highway is about relationships . . . with other students, with adults who care for them and seek to help them succeed, and with a God who loves them so much he sent His only Son to die for us so that we can have a right relationship with Him. We build these relationships through weekend student led worship and guidance from His Word, age specific group studies at our midweek services, seasonal camps, high impact trips designed for growth, and connecting with our community through serving others. Simply put, The Highway is all about meeting you where you are!
We spent the month of January exploring different verses to take on as our theme verse, the verse that represents us. At the end of the month, we took at vote and the winner was Proverbs 15:19!
“The way of the sluggard is blocked with thorns,
but the path of the upright is a HIGHWAY.”
Simply put, the way this verse now represents us, says we are a small group of the larger whole who refuses to be lazy, sit back and expect salvation to come to us. We are prepared to do the work that it takes, overcome struggles, and seize what has been freely offered to us. We choose to walk upright, we choose the Highway!
